Mechanical Engineer specialized in aeronautics at the University of Genoa, with more than forty years experience in aviation both military and civilian; he started as pilot of the Italian Air Force, continued as engineer in R.Piaggio Aerospace Industries, where, from 1973 to 2001 performs its activity by working on major products such as the PD808, P166 DL3 / DP1 and the P180 Avanti, and national / international co-productions such as G222 and MRCA Tornado. From 1982 to 2000 he held management positions as Technical Support director , Program Manager of the project P166 DP1, Director of Product Support and Maintenance Centre in the new Piaggio Aero. In 2001 he found AGTech srl company and starts his own activity addressed mainly to business aviation and commercial air transport operators.
With a degree in Engineering and a specialization in aviation project management, has a twenty-five years experience in business aviation in the fields of engineering , maintenance and continuing airworthiness management (CAMO), in various technical departments of airlines, manufacturers and maintenance providers. He is currently working as quality Manager in some international companies and is Vice President of an Austrian executive airline.
Aerospace engineer, graduated from the Polytechnic university of Turin, in 1981, after working for important companies in the mechanical and petrochemical sector, holding roles in the production and industrial engineering, he moved to the commercial sector acquiring a complete management training that led him to hold top management positions in some North Italian companies. On 2006 he started a business in the field of air transport acquiring first the Ground Care holding, an airport handling company and then in 2012 the CGA ( General Aviation Company) , European Piper dealer providing , maintenance , aerial work, services and sale of General Aviation aircraft.
Degree in Media and Communication at the University of Genoa in 2004, specialized at the University of Bologna in Television and Multimedia Production in 2008. In 2010 he attended and obtained a certificate of participation in the course of Video Design and Multimedia Production at the European Institute of Design in Milan. In AGTech covers the role of head of Communication & Multimedia Division carrying out activities of planning, designing and developing multimedia products such as graphics, websites, video presentations, corporate videos, commercial videos.
Aerospace engineer of large experience gained initially in Agusta and Piaggio (1972 to 1979) as structural designer, then at European Space Agency (ESTEC) working on various satellite projects (1979 to 1983). Then again in Piaggio as responsible of airframe design, certification and testing of the new P180 Avanti and others Piaggio products. (1983-1999). Coming from the well known I.A.F. specialist School of Caserta boasts a forty-year experience in aviation, where he carried out his activity , first ,as technical engineer of the Italian Air force, where he obtained the flight engineer licence and then from 1979 to 2010 in the largest Italian aviation industries such as: SIAI Marchetti, Agusta, Alenia GIE - ATR, Piaggio, where he gained extensive experience on turboprop aircrafts such as C130, ATR42/72, Dornier 228, P166 DL3/DP1, P180. Since 1986 to date has exercised the functions of technical representative, operating in four continents. He's still holding the civilian flight engineer licence, and aircraft maintenance licence: LMA-B1.
From 1970 to 2018 worked for Rockwell Collins (RC) . Duties covered as RC head of technical support for Italy and other European countries. Experiences on avionics architectures as avionics systems integrator, flight test engineer for aircraft (i.e Piaggio, Dassault, Raytheon, Cessna, etc,) and Agusta helicopters several series.
International Certification Coordinator (ICC) to support RC equipment & systems approvals by ENAC,EASA, FAA Authorities.
EASA avionics instructor for Piaggio P-180.
Currently aeronautical consultant for STCs study solutions & applications on airplanes and helicopters to comply with mandates and new rules.
Graduated in mechanical engineering, specialized in aeronautics at University of Genoa.
